Please note that we have a date fixed for our last extra meeting. Gracefield small room off the cafe, open to all membersat all levels.
My CPAGB panel is down from the Burns Centre , if you would like it for Tuesday just let me know.
Yes please John bring it along that is good news
Ok will do.
Just a reminder of the meeting with Rod tuesday night. What do you need to think about if you want to try for one of the awards and what is the standard of work that is needed for each level. For the CPAGB credit level it means good club photography and we have plenty of that in our club. There are lots of you have good club work, and just need to get the quantity together. Come along and see for yourself, bring some prints too if you want some guidance.
Hopefully during the summer we could ask Rod to do some print discussions, this would mean keeping up with taking and improving as you go along. Gracefield 7.30 small room off the cafe. Tea/coffee included £2 per person
I will bring lots of pictures including 30 from this weekend's adjudication in Kent which we are just back from. If anyone is there early can you get out our display boards.
Thank you Rod for a good insight to the PAGB awards and the chance to try our hand in judging.
I found last night very useful indeed - thank you Rod. Although I am a long way away from being ready for any award, it was extremely interesting to learn more about the process and the standard of photograph required. Sorting the prints was a great way to illustrate the process and teach us what the judges are looking for.
Also a huge thank you to Margaret for organising all the basics and beyond basics evenings and to all of the camera club members who have come along and shared their expertise with us. I have learned such a lot and look forward to next year.
Thanks guys, an enjoyable and thought provoking evening
Thanks to Rod and Margaret for last night's basics extra - interesting, enlightening and good fun.
