A small band of club members travelled to Hawick on Sunday 26th March to see Pax Garabedian judge the Borders Digital Challenge. After a break last year it was encouraging to see entries from 13 clubs representing both the Scottish and English sides of the border.
Morpeth, Dumfries and Musselburgh fought a close battle from the first round of images to the last. Morpeth retained their title by a margin of two points from Dumfries with Musselburgh only one further point behind in third place. The award for best image went to Liddesdale Camera Club.
Many thanks to Hawick Camera Club for a most enjoyable and well organised afternoon.

Taking a dip - 15. Really?
We thought we had a banker for our last image but .......
I'm surprised that it scored so well. :)
Maybeths Slow day should have received the top prize
Thanks Margaret. As Libby says 'close but no cigar.' I have no idea what that means.
In the early days of fairs, especially USA, it was common to have cigars as sideshow prizes rather than children's toys. So, if you didn't win .......
Interesting. Modern equivalent should be 'close but no cheap 25p toy that you just paid £3 to try and win but didn't'.
