Closes at 60 uploads. I had thought 50 but that's less than the number of members. See how it goes, I might make it 100 again if it's looking good.
I hope everyone contributes to this gallery. Ian has set the ground rules - new mono images taken during lockdown. It would be great to see how everyone is recording and reflecting on these unprecedented times.
These are looking really good. I think we should go to 100 again.
Having seen some of these images I do think that pictures showing the effect of lockdown are going to become an important archive - perhaps we should have a separate gallery for them.
Keep it going Ian - these are great.
Come on folks - only 11 different contributors so far.
I'm going to join in, I promise!
As of May 6, 55% of my images posted here were taken on my phone. Is this the future? Certainly for record shots it's my go to device. Is there a tiny handle available to stick on a phone to make it an easier one handed job of taking a snap.....and I don't mean a selfie stick....oh my god, I actually took one of those recently....banished from the club.....oh no, a selfie snapper.....forgive me...!
The video on the new ones is stunning.
There seem to be a lot of lockdown birds.
Some great stuff here but no one wants to comment?
The number of images in the gallery is edging towards 100. It would be great to see how some other members are experiencing lockdown. Are you clapping for carers, getting groceries delivered, building a six foot wall round your garden or doing a 4000 piece jigsaw? Joking aside, these photos are not aimed at competitions but are a record of the different ways we are dealing with these strange times.
It's very disappointing that so few people have posted here.
