New Season = New Club Draw
Still only £1 a go.
Half of the money staked will go as a prize to the holder of the winning ball. The other 50% will go to club funds. If the ball drawn doesn't have a name associated with it, then a consolation prize will go to the name closest; if it's a draw then the audience will be asked 'up' or 'down' and the consolation prize allocated that way. In that instance the following draw will be a 'rollover' and the prize money has to be won on that draw (no consolation prize).
Please have a modest flutter and help club funds. Money raised from the draw helps to keep club subscriptions lower than they might otherwise be. Also, as you'll see in the next few weeks, your club has purchased a brand new projector and screen to enhance projection of all your wonderful images. All this costs money and club funds are now depleted and have to be built up again.
Oh, and it's just a bit of fun to round off the night.
