Me too. I will be suggesting we use it in the Print Championship. I wonder if you can make the bird stand out just a little more. More contrast in the bird maybe or darkening slightly behind? Topaz clarity on the bird only? In the hand it is fine but the judges will be 4' - 5' distant.
Thanks folks - Rod, this is the 'improved' version following Libby's comments. I think a print now will look better than the one that you currently have. Im struggling to get much more out of it now - but that may just be my limitations of Photoshop skills!

How did you do this Tom? Is it two images - sharp tern and soft landscape? However you did it it's great.
Thanks Mick. It's exactly as you say - the landscape was shot as a zoom blur using a telephoto zoom lens - this was softened a bit further in Lightroom - and the tern is a sharp tern image. They were put together on separate layers in Photoshop. The whole thing was then given a few final tweaks in LR.
